We seek an experienced hydrologist or similarly qualified environmental scientist or water resources engineer knowledgeable of aquatic and wetland communities and how hydrological processes influence freshwater and estuarine ecosystems. Minimum of a master’s of science and 5-8 years of experience performing water resource investigations. Fundamental understanding of surface water and groundwater hydrology and methods of analysis is a must; knowledge and experience related to freshwater ecology and marine biology a plus. Experience compiling hydrological and water-quality data and using statistical and other data management software to perform exploratory data analysis, ANOVA and regression analysis is essential. Experience performing hydrological, ecological and / or GIS modeling a plus. Must demonstrate experience, in whole or part, preparing text, tables and figures for interpretive scientific reports. Must also be willing to work on multi-disciplinary teams and be capable of managing and executing project tasks with limited oversight.
